The Joint Cunsumer Price Index of Lampung Province in February 2019 Decreased by 0.29 Percent

February 2019, Lampung Joint CPI experienced a decline in index from 136.08 in January 2019 to 135.69 in February 2019, thus deflation of 0.29 percent.Based on the calculation of inflation in the calendar year (point to point) in February 2019, there was a deflation of 0.07 percent, while year on year (yoy) inflation in February 2019 against February 2018 was 1.29 percent.Of the seven expenditure groups, two groups experienced deflation, namely the foodstuffs group that experienced deflation (down by 2.06 percent); and the transport, communication and financial services group 0.12 percent. In contrast, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco groups experienced inflation of 1.08 percent; health group 0.40 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.05 percent; clothing group 0.02 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group 0.01 percent.
