Development of Lampung Joint Consumer Price Index June 2019

June 2019, Lampung Joint CPI experienced an increase in index from 138.07 in May 2019 to 138.91 in June 2019, thus inflation was 0.61 percent.Based on the inflation calculation of the calendar year (point to point) in June 2019 there was inflation of 2.31 percent, while inflation year on year (yoy) in June 2019 against June 2018 was 2.76 percent.Of the seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group which experienced inflation of 2.30 percent; clothing group 0.36 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.23 percent; education, recreation and sports group 0.14 percent; health group 0.03 percent; and the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.01 percent. In contrast, the transport, communication and financial services group experienced deflation (a decrease in the index) by 0.24 percent.Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in June 2019, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung's inflation is 0.63 percent, and Metro inflation is 0.48 percent.
