The Joint Consumer Price Index of Lampung Province in March 2019 Increased by 0.32 Percent

March 2019, Lampung Joint CPI experienced an increase in index from 135.69 in February 2019 to 136.12 in March 2019, thus inflation was 0.32 percent.Based on the inflation calculation of the calendar year (point to point) in March 2019 there was inflation of 0.25 percent, while year on year (yoy) inflation in March 2019 against March 2018 was 1.49 percent.Of the seven expenditure groups, four groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group that experienced inflation (up by 1.02 percent); transport, communication and financial services group 0.45 percent; processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group 0.09 percent; clothing group 0.04 percent. In contrast, the health group experienced a deflation of 0.05 percent; and the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.04 percent. Meanwhile, the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in the index.Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in March 2019, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation is 0.35 percent, and Metro inflation is 0.16 percent.
