Development of The Lampung Composite Consumer Price Index in October 2019

October 2019, Lampung Combined CPI experienced a decrease in index from 139.79 in September 2019 to 139.66 in October 2019, thus deflation occurred by 0.09 percent.Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point), October 2019 experienced inflation of 2.86 percent, while year-on-year (yoy) inflation in October 2019 against October 2018 was 3.43 percent.Of the seven expenditure groups, the foodstuff category experienced deflation, which was 1.87 percent and the clothing group 0.01 percent. Conversely, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group experienced inflation of 2.04 percent; health group 0.09 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group; and the transportation, communication and financial services group respectively experienced inflation of 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in the index.
