The Consumer Price Index of Lampung Province in October 2018 Increased by 0.05 Percent

October 2018, Lampung Joint CPI experienced an increase in index from 134.95 in September 2018 to 135.02 in October 2018, thus inflation was at 0.05 percent.Based on the October 2018 calendar year inflation (point to point) of 2.15 percent and October 2018 year on year (yoy) inflation is 2.79 percent.Of the seven expenditure groups, four groups experienced inflation, namely the transport, communication and financial services group experienced inflation of 0.66 percent; clothing group 0.08 percent; processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group 0.03 percent; and the health group 0.03 percent. In contrast, the foodstuffs group experienced deflation (down by 0.16 percent); and housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.06 percent. Meanwhile, the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in the index.Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in October 2018, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation is 0.02 percent, and Metro inflation is 0.22 percent.
