Abstract

Human development as a measure of overall development performance is formed through a three-dimensional approach, namely longevity and health, knowledge, and decent livelihood. All indicators that represent these three dimensions are summarized in one single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI) number. The more rapid development in various aspects in the era of regional autonomy, the more statistical data about the Human Development Index in Lampung Timur Regency are felt. The presentation of HDI is expected to be able to spur development performance through increasing the basic capacity of the population.
