Welfare Indicators of Lampung Timur Regency 2013

Socio-economic welfare is one of the key measures to see how successful development has been. Various indicators are used to assess the level of community welfare, such as health, education, housing facilities and sanitation, employment and consumption patterns. From the description that can be expressed by various indicators in this publication, it can be concluded that the welfare of the people in Lampung Timur still needs to be improved. Some areas that need attention are education, health, employment, and environmental sanitation. If these areas are prioritized in regional development, the Human Development Index (a composite indicator that measures the achievement of a region in the three basic dimensions of human development: the length of life, knowledge and decent standard of living) Lampung Timur can be better in absolute terms and rankings.
