Abstract

In June 2021, the Lampung CPI index increased from 107.09 in May 2021 to 107.28 in June 2021. Thus, inflation was 0.18 percent.
Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point), June 2021 experienced inflation of 0.87 percent, then year on year (yoy) inflation in June 2021 against June 2020 was 2.34 percent.
Of the eleven expenditure groups, nine expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the health group which experienced inflation of 1.20 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group 0.96 percent; personal care and other services group 0.55 percent; transportation group 0.48 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group 0.31 percent; clothing and footwear group 0.13 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group 0.13 percent; recreation, sports and culture 0.08 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group 0.07 percent. On the other hand, one group, namely the food, beverage and tobacco group, experienced a decrease in index (deflation) by 0.33 percent. Meanwhile, one other group, namely the education group, did not experience a change in the index.
