Lampung Economic Growth in Second Quarter (Q2) 2019

Lampung Province's economy in the second quarter of 2019 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR91.79 trillion and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reached IDR62.28 trillion.The economy of Lampung Province in quarter II-2019 grew by 5.62 percent, strengthening compared to quarter II-2018 (y-on-y) of 5.35 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved in the Electricity and Gas Procurement business sector and the Manufacturing Industry. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was achieved by the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component of 10.65 percent.The economy of Lampung Province in the second quarter of 2019 grew 4.92 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved in the manufacturing, transportation and warehousing industries, and the provision of accommodation and food and beverages. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was in the Government Consumption Expenditure component of 30.89 percent.The economy of Lampung Province in the first semester of 2019 (c-to-c) grew by 5.42 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved in the electricity-gas procurement business, manufacturing industry and education services. In terms of expenditure driven by the Non-Profit Institutional Consumption Expenditure Component serving Households by 10.43 percent.
