Transportation in Lampung Province June 2019

The total number of passengers departing in June 2019 was 458,718 people, up by 134.86 percent compared to May 2019, which was as many as 195,315 people. The percentage increase in the number of passenger departures occurred in all modes of transportation, the highest increase was found in passengers using ferry transportation mode which amounted to 268.71 percent followed by airplanes and trains, which were 75.87 percent, and 30.70 percent respectively.When compared with the situation in June 2018, the number of passengers departing using land, sea and air modes of transportation also increased by 4.18 percent, from 440,319 people to 458,718 people. The percentage increase in the number of passenger departures also occurred in railway and ferry modes, which were 15.28 percent and 4.89 percent respectively, while the departure of passengers using airplane transportation modes decreased by 5.62 percent, from 102,812 people to 97,034 people.
