Human development in Lampung Province continues to progress. In 2018, Lampung's HDI reached 69.02. This figure increased by 0.77 points or grew by 1.13 percent compared to 2017.Newborns in 2018 have hopes of living up to 70.18 years, 0.23 years longer than those born in the previous year.Children who were 7 years old in 2018 had hopes of enjoying 12.61 years of education (Diploma I), 0.15 years longer than those of the same age in 2017.The population aged 25 years and above has an average of 7.82 years of education (class VIII), 0.03 years longer than the previous year.In 2018, the people of Lampung fulfilled their living needs with an adjusted average per capita expenditure of Rp9.86 million, an increase of Rp.445 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year's expenditure.
