In March 2018, the number of poor (people with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line) in Lampung reached 1,097.05 thousand people (13.14 percent), increasing by 13.31 thousand people compared to September 2017 of 1,083 , 74 thousand people (13.04 percent).The percentage of poor people in urban areas in September 2017 of 9.13 percent rose to 9.27 percent in March 2018. While the percentage of poor people in rural areas in September 2017 of 14.56 percent rose to 14.76 percent in March 2018.
